Adam Dennison
Chief Executive Officer
Adam Dennison is the CEO of Boston Green Company, a position he has held since July 2025. With a robust background in operational management and business development, Adam brings extensive experience from the environmental services, petroleum, and utility construction sectors. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President of Boston Green as well as the Director of Strategic Field Service Accounts and Director of Business Development at ACV Enviro. In these positions, Adam successfully developed environmental field service sales, coached account executives to close new business, and collaborated with operations management to execute new initiatives. His earlier career includes roles as General Manager at Boston Green Company and Operations Manager at NRC National Response Corporation, where he managed complex projects involving soil remediation, environmental construction, and industrial maintenance.
Adam is highly skilled in petroleum management, industrial cleaning, emergency spill response, confined space cleaning services, storage tank services, environmental awareness, utility construction, and hazardous waste management. A proven sales professional, he has consistently grown revenues beyond set goals. Adam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, where he graduated with the highest GPA in his major. His comprehensive expertise and strategic vision make him an invaluable asset to the Boston Green team.
Sarah Sessa-McCaughey
Chief Financial Officer
Sarah Sessa-McCaughey serves as Chief Financial Officer at Boston Green Company, overseeing the company’s financial operations and bringing a disciplined blend of financial leadership, strategic growth, and operational expertise to the executive team.
Sarah’s career spans senior financial leadership across multiple industries, with a consistent record of building strong financial foundations and guiding organizations through complex growth environments. Before joining Boston Green Company, she served as Chief Financial Officer of Coast of Maine Organic Products Inc., Senior Vice President of Finance at WIN Waste Innovations, and segment CFO at Iron Mountain. Across these roles, she developed deep expertise in corporate finance, strategic planning, and operational scale.
A Certified Public Accountant, Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
She is a member of Chief, a private network for senior executive women, and has volunteered as a mentor with Girls With Impact for more than three years—reflecting a sustained commitment to developing the next generation of business leaders.
Ryan Dougherty
Vice President of Operation
Ryan Dougherty brings over two decades of operational leadership and environmental expertise to his role as Vice President of Operations at Boston Green. Known for his performance-driven approach and uncompromising integrity, Ryan has a proven track record of optimizing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving profitability across diverse organizations.
Ryan’s career spans key leadership roles, including Director of Operations and Operations Manager, where he has successfully managed large-scale remediation projects, enhanced operational efficiency, and fostered cross-functional collaboration. Most recently in his Operations Manager role, Ryan consistently exceeded performance targets, achieved 100% compliance with environmental health and safety programs, and implemented strategies that improved quality and profitability.
A resourceful leader, Ryan excels in staff management, conflict resolution, and developing innovative solutions to complex challenges. His expertise in financial administration, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency has made him a trusted leader in the environmental services industry.
Ryan is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served aboard the USS John F. Kennedy. During his service, he was honored as Sailor of the Year in 2006 and received two Navy Achievement Medals. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Florida State College at Jacksonville and an Associate of Arts in Photojournalism from the Defense Information School.
Based in Plymouth, MA, Ryan is passionate about advancing Boston Green’s mission of sustainability and environmental innovation. Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring others, exploring the outdoors, and contributing to his local community.
Jared Anderson
Director of Remediation Services
Jared Anderson is Director of Remediation Services at Boston Green Company. He leads the company’s remediation operations across New England and New York, helping clients get safe, compliant, and cost-effective environmental solutions tailored to their sites.
Jared brings more than a decade of hands-on environmental experience. He began his career with four years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army, where he built the discipline and operational focus that still guide his work. He went on to serve as an Environmental Field Service Technician and Foreman at Boston Green Fuel Company. He then joined ACV Enviro as an Environmental Field Service Supervisor before moving into a Project Manager role. He later founded Pine Tree Environmental and Industrial Services, which he led through 2026.
That path from the field to the front office to founder shapes how Jared works with clients. He knows what it takes to get a remediation job done right on site. He also understands the compliance, safety, and budget pressures his clients face. The result is practical, dependable service that keeps projects on track and costs under control.
Jared holds an extensive list of certifications, including a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License, Class A CDL, HAZWOPER 40, OSHA 10, Asbestos Supervisor certification, Massachusetts Soil Evaluator certification, and Massachusetts Title 5 Inspector certification. He also earned an Associate’s Degree in Diesel Technology from Massasoit Community College.
Dmitro Popovich
Director of Business Development – Terminal, Marine & Industrial Services
Dmitro Popovich is Director of Business Development – Terminal, Marine & Industrial Services at Boston Green Company. Based in Braintree, Massachusetts, he helps terminal operators, marine facilities, and industrial clients find environmental and material handling solutions tailored to their needs.
Dmitro brings more than 18 years of experience in bulk liquid and dry bulk marine terminal operations. Most recently, he served as Director of Operations at Sprague Operating Resources LLC, where he oversaw five terminals in New Hampshire and Maine. He led more than 100 terminal personnel and managed annual operating budgets exceeding $30 million, with a strong focus on safety, regulatory compliance, and emergency preparedness.
He built his career from the ground up, starting as an Operator and Lead Operator in Everett, Massachusetts. He then advanced to Terminal Supervisor in Albany, New York, and Terminal Manager in Everett and Newington, New Hampshire.
That frontline experience shapes how Dmitro works with clients. He understands their daily pressures and builds practical, cost-effective programs that keep operations safe and compliant.
Dmitro holds a B.S. in Automotive Technology, with a minor in Business Management, from Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology in Boston.
Fabian Lira
Environmental, Health & Safety Director
Fabian Lira is Environmental, Health & Safety Director at Boston Green Company. He leads the company’s safety, compliance, and emergency preparedness programs, which protect employees, clients, and the communities Boston Green serves across the Northeast.
Fabian brings more than 19 years of international EHS experience across pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, food production, manufacturing, and aviation. As Founder and CEO of Health & Safety Consulting (HSC), he served major clients such as Chevron, Coca-Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Johnson & Johnson, and PepsiCo. He managed more than 50 ergonomics and industrial hygiene projects. He also completed audits and hazard assessments at more than 100 workplaces to ensure compliance with OSHA and international standards.
He also founded the International Fire Academy. There, he led instructors and consultants across nine countries and trained more than 50,000 participants in occupational safety, firefighting, hazardous materials response, and emergency medical services. His training background also includes marine firefighting instruction under International Maritime Organization (IMO) model courses.
Most recently, Fabian served as EHS Manager at Kayem Foods, Inc., where he directed EHS programs across multiple Massachusetts manufacturing facilities to meet OSHA, EPA, and MassDEP requirements. He led Process Safety Management programs for ammonia refrigeration systems and introduced data-driven tools that strengthened reporting and compliance. He continues to advise organizations as an EHS and Emergency Response Senior Advisor with HSC.
That mix of global perspective and hands-on field experience shapes how Fabian works at Boston Green. He builds practical, people-focused safety programs that reduce risk, keep operations compliant, and help every team member go home safe.
